Retractable round table

Heatherwick Studio designed a stretchable table Friction. 61 long slats forming the tabletop are made of paper, and they become firm by resin processing. Friction can flexibly switch able to accommodate 8 people round and the longest to 4 meters long, adapt to different space and needs.
